Sacrestia Farmacia Alcolica is a cosy cocktail bar, in an area called Navigli, Milan. The place has a quirky and homely feel to it. Located slightly further than the more crowded tourist spots, you’ll find many locals and students opt to chill out here, before they go clubbing.

Sacrestia Farmacia Alcolica offer a menu with pages full of cocktails and have what they call happy hour.

Now their happy hour is not like the UK happy hour, in this bar (and a few others in the area) you pay 10 Euro to eat as much as you can at the buffet and choose any cocktail from the menu. After this you pay for any further cocktails, I believe they were about 7 Euro each.

This is a place to relax, drink and have a laugh with your mates, don’t expect the food to be hot and amazing, expect to have delicious cocktails with food perfect for soaking up the alcohol. If you don’t want to eat the buffet food, you can order other things from food menu. Just be careful when ordering chips if you’re British; ask for ‘French fries instead’.

The area itself is very quirky, my mate, and I enjoyed walking around and looking at the lights on all the buildings (it was during Christmas season), walking along the canal and looking at the street art.
